Donald (Don) Joseph TREMBLAY passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025 in Thunder Bay, where he was born in 1934. Don spent most of his life in London with his loving wife Virginia (Ginny), who passed away last March. Deeply missed by his two daughters, his brother and his two grandchildren.

Inspired by Ginny to leave engineering to become an educator, he was “a wonderful teacher and proactive leader – always bringing out the gifts in people, both students and staff. Described as “an inspiration in how he lived” with a “beautiful way of making people feel welcome and loved”, Don will also be remembered for his storytelling and quick wit.Aware of the importance of exercise, Don developed his own unique ABBA dance routine. In the retirement home where he settled this May, he adapted his ABBA ‘dance’ program for the residents which was approved a few days before his passing.

“Don, the family man, Don the educator, Don the comedian, Don the dancer, Don the loving father, brother, husband, grandfather, and dear friend,” will be missed by many.
