Peter MUMBY (staff, 1983-2002), a former Math teacher, died March 20, 2025.  He is survived by his dear wife Ann, sons Scott and Eric, and grandsons Caden and Jaxon.  During his time at South, he taught many students in his calm, patient and organized manner. He is remembered by fellow staff members as a very nice man, with a keen sense of humour.

Peter was known for riding his bike to work in all kinds of weather, and kept a supply of clothes in the math office to change into.  He was an avid railway fan and spent many hours photographing trains. He was an active member of the White River Division Rail Club and had a model railroad business for many years, travelling across Ontario to hobby shows.
