Katherine Ann (Leahy) Millman (‘65) passed away November 1, 2024. Survived by her husband of 55 years John, children David (Maureen), Kate (Bob), Jonathan (Erin), Robert (Marissa) and ten grandchildren. When working as a physiotherapist (U of T) at London’s Children’s Hospital, she met and married Dr. John Millman (MD Western U). Shortly afterward, they moved to Guelph where she raised their four children. Later, she was VP of Finance at WellServe Healthcare Management (a company founded by her husband and herself). Retirement was full of activities especially including her children and grandchildren. Remembered as “a beautiful human being who exemplified kindness, empathy and grace”, she will be deeply missed by family, friends and her beloved poodle, Sadie.
Stephan Colton Ritchie (’92) passed away December 13, 2024. He is survived by his wife Diane, sons Colton (’18) and Wilem (’21) and stepdaughters Alexis, Olivia, Sienna, Aria and Hannah. Remembered as a man “of extraordinary love, dedication, and kindness” who always put his family first, he also “knew how to have fun’. He loved dirt biking as well as “riding his Harleys, sipping on gin and enjoying a cold beer”. His legacy was described as “one of love, devotion and unwavering commitment to those who mattered most”.
Delia Patrice Waldock (’64) passed away December 17, 2024 at University Hospital, age 78. Survived by her brother Lawrence (Diane), nephew Deron (Elizabeth) and her great-nephew, Matthew. A graduate of U of Ottawa, she returned to London and worked at London Life. Later she earned her M Div (Western U) and took a position in the chancery office, continuing with her education she also earned her MCL (uOttawa). She worked as a canon lawyer for the marriage tribunal in the Edmonton Catholic Dioceses. After retiring, she moved back to London and reunited with longtime and new friends.
Peter Zendrowski (’72) passed away December 20, 2024, after a battle with cancer. Survived by his wife Georgena “Georgie”, daughter Michelle Townsend and two grandchildren. Also survived by step-daughter Wendy Potter (Rick), step-son Christopher Wright (Lynn) and three step-grandchildren. Great grand-father to two. Peter is predeceased by his brother Jay Zendrowski (’75) (Sandra). He is survived by his siblings Paul Zendrowski (Cynthia) and Dana Zendrowski (’70). Peter began his I.T. career with General Motors, after earning a Mathematics degree (in Computer Science) at U Waterloo), and retired as Director at CapGemini in 2018. Remembered as a devoted family man who “enjoyed curling, playing pool, darts, dancing and singing Secret Agent Man at Karaoke.”
Kenneth Robert (Bob) Pryce Jones (’65) passed away December 31, 2024 at Woodingford Lodge in Woodstock, ON, in his 80th year. Survived by his wife Noreen Jones (Guthrie), sons Craig (Greta) and Jeff (Becky) and his four grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Richard Jones (’68). He was a teacher and on retirement he continued to use his skills and volunteered at the Correctional Facility in Brantford where he taught inmates English. A talented woodworker, he also handcrafted clocks. Dearly missed by family & friends.
