*IMPORTANT REGISTRATION UPDATE: Pre-registration will only be available until 11:59 pm on Tuesday, May 23. Save $5 and save time by registering ASAP. When you arrive at the school for the first time on the Reunion weekend, you must check in at the Registration Desk and receive your name tag. Your name tag must be worn when you are in the school as it is your proof of registration. (The ticket that you may have received upon registration is not necessary). If you have not pre-registered, you will be required to pay $25, cash or debit only. A name tag will be made for you at that time.

REUNION MERCHANDISE AND MEMORABILIA: The online store for ordering merchandise before the Reunion is now closed. Orders placed before April 30th can be picked up on Friday night near the Registration desk, in the Reunion Store on Saturday, or on Sunday at the Staff Brunch. Only non-clothing items will be available for sale during the Reunion. The online store will re-open after May 28, with delivery of items to be determined by the purchaser.

ALUMNI SALES TABLES13 authors will be displaying and selling their books in our Library Reunion Store, along with one alumna artisan and alumna singer/songwriter, Andrea Koziol, whose CD’s will be for sale.

CHORAL “PRACTICE”: Rediscover your singing voice! Join former music teacher, Dave Elston in the Music Room at noon on Saturday for an impromptu rehearsal. Dave has 5 or 6 songs selected for interested alumni to practise and “perform”. There will be sign-up sheets at the school on Friday evening and Saturday morning, but you are also welcome to just show up!

Trivia ContestAs indicated earlierthe questions will be based on the content in the alumni profiles displayed outside the Decade Rooms. Since including the quiz in this e-blast would give an unfair advantage to some alumni, the Trivia question sheet won’t be posted online until the start of the May weekend. There will also be copies at the Registration Table in the front hall. Small prizes will be awarded to the first 3 correct answer sheets drawn out Saturday at 2:30, as well as the first 3 drawn out on Sunday afternoon at 1 pm. You must be in attendance to collect your prize.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: There is still time to volunteer to help with a variety of activities during the Reunion weekend, from set up Friday afternoon to take-down Sunday afternoon. If you are willing to help, please send us an email contact@southalumni.ca.

PARKING REMINDER: Anyone needing accessible parking should email Barbara Hoover (blh1953@gmail.com)  by Wed. May 24 to request a reserved spot.
