What he did: He scored the Lions’ first touchdown by causing a fumble and returning it 40 yards, the forced another fumble late in the game to preserve South’s 18-11 upset win over the Oakridge Oaks. He also played on special teams that did a good job in pinning the Oaks deep despite the absence of punter Dylan Wamsley througn injury.
Honourable mention
Nate Behar, QB/WR, Central: Returned a kickoff 93 yards for a Golden Ghosts touchdown and made an interception on the Central one-yard line to end the first half against Mother Teresa in a game the Spartans rallied to win 22-17.
Adam Sinclair, TB/DB, Mother Teresa: Scored the Spartans’ winning touchdown against Central on a 53-yard run and made a couple of other long runs to give the Spartans’ great field position; also played a strong game in the secondary.
Spencer Roloson, TE, East Elgin: Scored two touchdown in Eagles’ 27-17 win over their archrivals, St. Joe’s Rams, that gave East Elgin the inside track on first place in the TVRA Southeast Conference.
