Dr Robert Alan Beattie (’69) (MD), passed away October 30, 2023 in Kingston. Predeceased by his parents John and Edna (Waugh) (’34) and brother Jack Beattie (’68). Survived by his sister Anne Beattie-Stokes (’67), wife Jan, children Ben (Kelly) and Erin (Steve) and four grandchildren. A graduate of Western’s Medical School (’75), Rob served the rural community of Arkona, Ontario for over 30 years.

Anna Louise (Rush) LUCE (’57) passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023, in London in her 85th year. Cherished by husband Eric Luce, daughter Kiersten, son Jamie, and her grandchildren. Survived by her sister Carol (Rush) Ashdown (’55), nephew Chris (’89) Ashdown and nieces Catherine Ashdown (’81) and Colleen Auriemma (’81).  A graduate of Western’s medical school in 1963, Anna practised at the Children’s Psychiatric Research Institute for many years.

Beverly (Bev) (Shephard) BUSCHE (’63) passed away November 15, 2023 in her 80th year. Survived by her husband Doug, children Kristin (’84) of London and Kevin (’89) (Kirsty) of Calgary, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also survived by her sister Thelma Simpson. Although part of the class of ’63, Bev left South after grade 12 to attend nursing school.

Donald (Don) Alexander MCKERCHER (’58) passed away peacefully on November 18, 2023, age 84. Survived by his beloved wife Ingrid, daughter Alison (Michael) Adamowicz, and brother Ian (’65) (Amelia) of Ottawa. Proud grandpa of Nolan and Andrew. A dedicated teacher for 30 years, Don was known for his infectious good humour.
