Ruth King-Roes (’78) passed away April 4, 2023. Survived by her husband Adrian, sons Isaac, Adrian and Joseph and her brother, John King (’75). Ruth was a physiotherapist in Stroke Rehabilitation for many years at various London hospitals, most recently Parkwood.

Beverley (Farrell) FREEMAN (’67) passed away October 4, 2023, age 74. Survived by her husband James Freeman and her children Jackie Freeman and Christopher Blow (’92) Predeceased by her first husband Nigel Blow (’68). A graduate of Western University, Beverley was on staff at Wheable Collegiate Institute and Saunders Secondary School teaching French and Computer Science, one of London’s first teachers of Computer Science.

Ruth (Wilson) HAMMOND (‘39) passed away October 6, 2023 at 101 years of age at Grand Wood Park Retirement Home. Predeceased by her husband, C. Lyle Hammond, her sister Margaret Anderson (‘36) and brother Hugh Wilson (‘47). Survived by her daughters Carolyn Hammond and Donna Monkman, 2 grandchildren and one great grandson. Ruth volunteered with Hospice of London for over 20 years.

Frederick Douglas (‘Doug’) HOSKIN (’61) passed away October 8, 2023 at the age of 81. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Alicia, and his daughter Carolyn (’96). He sang with the Senior Choir at Calvary United Church and was an avid bowler at the Elmwood Lawn Bowling Club.

Lee Albert Males (’66) passed away October 10, 2023. Survived by his wife Debra and son Graham. Predeceased by his sister Heather Ellis (’56) and brother Denny. Lee continued to work full-time in the family business, an OHS software company, until his death. He also had a life-long passion for high-performance cars and boats.
